Op zondagmiddag 10 mei presenteert Het Podium een intieme jazz matinee met het trio Hiske Oosterwijk. In een sfeervolle setting brengen Hiske Oosterwijk (zang), Job Posthuma (gitaar) en Bert van Erk (contrabas) een selectie van bekende jazz-standards en prachtige songs, elk met de persoonlijke touch en verfijnde interpretatie van ervaren jazzmusici.

Het trio staat bekend om hun sprankelende interactie en subtiele grooves. Oosterwijk combineert warme vocalen met een gevoel voor timing en nuance, terwijl Posthuma en Van Erk een solide maar elegante begeleiding verzorgen die ruimte laat voor spontane momenten. De combinatie van gitaar en contrabas vormt een intiem klankpalet waarin de zang tot zijn recht komt.

Verwacht verrassende improvisaties en momenten die alleen in het hier en nu kunnen ontstaan. Een ontspannen middagconcert vol muziek die raakt, verrast en inspireert. Jazz zoals het bedoeld is, zonder opsmuk en met aandacht voor detail.

It's finally time!! Perfect Storm will present their debut album - No Air - live at the EM2 in Groningen.

The album was released in 2021, but due to covid they had to postpone the official release concert. The album has been well received in the Netherlands as well as abroad. Perfect Storm is an alternative rock band from the north of the Netherlands. Their songs are a mix of styles: alternative rock, progrock, pop, jazz, electro.

Friday 29th of april I'll be joining the Frontline Vibers after 3 years of being apart. A international project led by Zsolt Argyelan.

We'll be playing in Novi Sad, as a part of the flag of the future. The theme of this historical night is de Nu-Jazz scene, so aside from our performance there will be also Majic Teams from Berlin and Abasé from Milan.
