Op zondagmiddag 10 mei presenteert Het Podium een intieme jazz matinee met het trio Hiske Oosterwijk. In een sfeervolle setting brengen Hiske Oosterwijk (zang), Job Posthuma (gitaar) en Bert van Erk (contrabas) een selectie van bekende jazz-standards en prachtige songs, elk met de persoonlijke touch en verfijnde interpretatie van ervaren jazzmusici.

Het trio staat bekend om hun sprankelende interactie en subtiele grooves. Oosterwijk combineert warme vocalen met een gevoel voor timing en nuance, terwijl Posthuma en Van Erk een solide maar elegante begeleiding verzorgen die ruimte laat voor spontane momenten. De combinatie van gitaar en contrabas vormt een intiem klankpalet waarin de zang tot zijn recht komt.

Verwacht verrassende improvisaties en momenten die alleen in het hier en nu kunnen ontstaan. Een ontspannen middagconcert vol muziek die raakt, verrast en inspireert. Jazz zoals het bedoeld is, zonder opsmuk en met aandacht voor detail.

25 september, ben ik te bewonderen in de kerk van Burgwerd! Ik breng deze avond een aantal nummers ten gehore als voorproefje op het Theaterconcert Tiidgenoaten . Samen met Job Posthuma .

Maar ik ben niet de enige. Mijn teaser zal onderdeel zijn van het sprankelende orgelconcert van internationale concertorganist Eeuwe Zijlstra & trompettist Jan Vermaning (NNO). En last but not least, is daarnaast ook Flip van Doorn, schrijver van het boek 'De Friezen', aanwezig om een lezing te geven.
